Peekio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Peekio mobile application (“Peekio”, “the app”).

By using Peekio, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Anonymous Authentication (Firebase Auth): We may assign you a unique anonymous identifier upon launching the app. Optional email is stored for Premium users.
• Camera and Photo Access: Rear camera access is used for capturing Peekios. Images are temporary and deleted shortly after viewing.
• Push Notification Tokens: Used solely for anonymous Peekio requests. Not linked to personal identity.
• Usage Analytics: Firebase Analytics collects aggregated usage data.
• Subscription Status: Stored anonymously in Firestore with plan type and upgrade timestamp.
• Moderation: Images are analyzed using Google Cloud Vision API to block explicit content.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Enable app features and interactions
• Send notifications
• Enforce content safety
• Maintain subscription access
• Improve app performance

3. What We Don't Do

• We do not collect real names or contact info
• We do not sell or share data
• No ads or trackers are used

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Photos auto-delete after being viewed or expired
• Tokens are removed on uninstall
• Old Peekio sessions are purged automatically

5. Children's Privacy

Peekio is not for users under 13. If a child uses the app, contact us to remove their data.

6. Location Data

Optional location features may use approximate (not precise) location only with user consent.
